In 2013, Alaina completed her transition away from the world of the stage and was hired full-time at MSRI as their new Assistant for Scientific Activities. In this position, Alaina played an integral role in the organization, planning, logistics, and evaluation of MSRI’s scientific research programs and other activities. Many of the documents and workflows she developed while serving in this role are still used by MSRI’s program staff today.
